Complaints
Complaints, Investigations, and Inquiries
The Medical Council's primary role is to safeguard public health and safety by ensuring high standards of professional conduct, performance, and education among doctors. We achieve this by investigating complaints regarding the health, performance, and conduct of registered doctors in Jamaica.
The Medical Council’s complaints process is not intended to resolve disputes or disagreements between doctors and patients. In most cases, these issues can be resolved by discussing them directly with your doctor.
